Fine Art 16mm
The specificity in 16mm films, above all notion of movement, imagery and paste that resides in the medium of filming, is the peculiar notion of time and light attached to the use of an analogue camera. Both during the recording and the processing development, 16mm films are entangled with a specific rhythm, tempo, grain and sound attached to the medium.
These films are digging into this more carnal and manual use of the film medium, and experiments with the analogue process from capturing light within a moving image, to the effect of this image on the analogue editing, from it's first to last point of process, communicating a more real and palpable visual language.
