Short films and Performances
Performance is an art engraved in the encounter between body, space, time and the consequences of movement. Shaping narratives in-between these lines is a game that dance, performance and theatrics succeed in manipulating and reshaping. It allows to evoke beyond the distance created by the facade of the other arts, going straight and deep within the use of the flesh to relocate the body at the center of the telling.
The live aspect of performance allows this medium to strike the viewer into a confined spatio-temporal frame, that echoes the impact of the instant. But what happens if this instant is elongated within the static facade of photography, or the moving paste of films and words?
My practice of performance combined with texts, photographs or video explores these horizons of ways of telling and letting seen.
